Description This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1. Operating a wide variety of firefighting equipment and performing rescue missions to meet established standards; AND
2. Controlling or extinguishing fires as a member of a fire department to protect lives and property; AND
3. Driving and operating firefighting vehicles to ensure rapid and safe emergency response; AND;
4. Performing non-invasive emergency medical procedures to maintain practice and protocols of a fire department.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized. The current workweek is Sunday through Thursday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week).

The Office of the Secretary of Defense (Personnel and Readiness) limits the number of Bahrain based DoD personnel accompanied tours. Dependent entry approval from Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command is required for all accompanied tours prior to extending the final job offer and prior to issuing Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. Accompanied tours are not guaranteed.
