Description You will serve as a Fire Protection Specialist in the Federal Fire Department of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII.

A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing training and safety programs in accordance with regulatory agencies; 2) Managing the development and implementation of emergency medical services training plan; 3) Conducting course research, providing quality assurance, and maintaining budgetary controls for all training requirements; and 4) Completing written reports of program effectiveness, training academics, and study outcomes in order provide recommendations.

This position requires the incumbent to possess the following certifications for this position: Firefighter II; Airport Firefighter; Hazmat Technician, Hazmat Incident Command; Fire Officer II; Fire Instructor II; Fire Inspector II, and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) Basic. If you do not possess all of the above certifications and you have not attached a copy of your transcript or certifications, you will be rated ineligible.
