Area Director (Arkansas)—National Search

LifeNet, Inc., an Arkansas not-for-profit corporation that provides ground and air Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Texas, Arkansas and Oklahoma is seeking a qualified and experienced Area Director to join the LifeNet Leadership Team for its Arkansas markets. 

LifeNet is a Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services (CAAS) accredited organization serving approximately 350,000 citizens and visitors living in a combined 4,000 square miles. In Arkansas, LifeNet operates as the exclusive emergent and non-emergent Emergency Medical Service (EMS) provider for multiple counties and cities, to include: the city of Malvern and Hot Spring County, the City of Hot Springs and Garland County, and Hot Springs Village. The operation staffs 16 state-of-the-art units each day (both ALS and BLS) with over 150 dedicated employees, responding to over 38,000 calls a year. 

This senior-level position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of ambulance field services, ensuring overall efficiency and the highest level of patient care.  

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Four (4) years of recent experience in EMS 
  • Current Paramedic certification (with ability to obtain Arkansas Paramedic certification), applicable Driver’s License and acceptable driving record, CPR and ACLS certificates  
  • Proven management capabilities, including: personnel and budget management
  • Will be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the EMS industry, best-practices, and how to effectively apply them

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Science Administration, or related field, preferred. 

The annual salary midpoint for this position is $115,000, commensurate with experience,  and comes with an attractive benefits offering.
