Job Description
EMS Program Faculty – EMT & Paramedic

As a key member of the EMS Program Faculty team within the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine, you will support all aspects of this vital program. This will include coordinating, developing, and presenting lectures in the Paramedic & EMT primary, hybrid, preparatory, refresher, and continuing education programs. You will:
- Deliver innovative and interactive lectures
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of psychomotor skills and simulation programs
- Support the clinical/field internship portion of the program
- Innovate and research new learning methods
- Serve as a student advocate
- Create an active learning environment
- Maintain a high level of industry competence

Target annual rate: $64,800.00 – $137,600.00
We’re seeking self-motivated, creative, and collaborative individuals with:
- Formal training in education theory
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field – Master’s preferred
- Knowledge of EMS education accreditation requirements
- Proficient in the use of simulation to meet learning objectives
- In-depth knowledge of prehospital care procedures/techniques
- Valid unrestricted driver's license
- Ability to drive a personal vehicle to off-campus locations
- Flexibility to work days, evenings and/or weekends
- Ability to lift, carry, and balance in excess of 125 pounds
- Excellent hand-eye and motor coordination
